Qigong, unlike other exercises, is designed to be practiced in line with the world around us and each class will be designed in-line with the current seasonal energy.

Why Now?

A long Winter of hibernation can leave our bodies feeling rigid and full of stagnant energy, however in Spring it’s time to blossom and bloom.

This is because Spring is the season for renewal, growth and rising yang energy. With Summer approaching, this is such an important time of year to ensure qi is flowing smoothly and freely around the body.

This series is focused around the specific energy for the week itself to ensure your body flows in line with the seasons.

We will begin by focusing on Spring and the Wood Element. In the springtime, qi flow is especially active in the Liver and Gallbladder, which focus on growth, movement and change. These flows will help you feel clear, creative, and grounded

From May we transition into Summer and the Fire element. We will support our Heart, Small Intestine and Pericardium to cultivate joy, compassion and love. These flows will help you feel the warmth, connection and openness of Summer.
